Our Story

From local meetups to a national collective.

2017: It all started in February as Warsaw Game Audio – an informal group of game audio professionals. What began as a few casual meetups quickly evolved into a thriving community centered around our Discord server.
2021: We leveled up with the launch of our annual Summer Summit. Over the years, this has grown into a cornerstone event featuring a mix of deep-dive discussions, hands-on workshops, and expert lectures.
2025: Thanks to initiative of our community members new events were introduced: Winter Summit (organized by Emilia Macionczyk and Marcin Szmuc) and first Field Recording Camp (organized by Agnieszka Rumińska), expanding our calendar to support the community year-round.
2026: To better reflect the nationwide reach and impact of our members, we officially rebranded as Game Audio Poland and built this website.

Today, we are a community of 270+ professionals and we’re still growing. We’ve come a long way since 2017, and our plans for the future of Polish game audio are more ambitious than ever.
